Siam Country Club Plantation Course is another excellent 27-hole course designed by Schmidt & Curley, located high in the hills behind Pattaya with 360-degree views. The course is also world class in every way and a great golf challenge. Definitely one of the best golf courses in Thailand.





The name comes from the historic pineapple, sugar cane and cassava plantations that once stood on the site, with each of the nine holes named accordingly.

The course winds between the natural streams and the terrain and its elevated position means the prevailing winds can cool you down on hot days, but can also have a huge impact on your shot. Many greens have steep runoffs that require great precision around the green.

Don't let hole 1 (a 370-yard dogleg hole to the left and a bunker protecting the tiger line) fool you into thinking this course is easy, as you'll quickly realize that Siam Country Club's Plantation course is designed to Very strict golf test. You'll encounter long runs over the water, blind approaches, unsightly greens and undulating fairways with flat fairways being rare.

The golf course is in immaculate condition with well manicured fairways lined with thick rough and then even thicker gorse, super fast greens and none of the wear and tear that is common with other courses.
