Pattaya golf courses

Laem Chabang International Country Club

Laem Chabang International Country Club is one of the best golf courses in Pattaya and one of the best golf courses in Thailand. The course is in immaculate condition with lush fairways, fast and true greens, immaculate clubhouse and top notch caddies. A "must see" place you won't forget. Evening golf is also offered starting at 3:30pm, which is very popular among Pattaya golfers.

The 27 holes designed by Jack Nicklaus (named after each course's topography, lakes, mountains, and Kutani) have been transformed by one of the greatest designers in the natural landscape. Valley of the Nine is probably the hardest, but that doesn't mean the others are easier, no matter what you play you'll have to get used to some long flips on the water, sometimes thick long grass, well placed bunkers and very fast greens.

Our favorite course at Laem Chabang is Valley Nine, the second course is a huge par 5 course with water everywhere and requires accuracy all the way to the right green with bunker protection. The third is the second most difficult, challenging to bring the water to another well protected green with bunkers to the left. These nine holes leave you with no time to rest as the 4th is the hardest of the 27 holes at Laem Chabang Country Club - not that long, but has bunkers that protect the fairway and a sloped fruit that most golfers prefer. The lake in front of the ridge walked away very relieved.

Then head to one of the best golf holes at one of Pattaya's golf courses. The par-5 5th stretches for over 200 yards and features numerous bunkers - a very daunting prospect for any high handicap player.

Hole 6 on the Lake Course is a good example, as even a good tee shot will still leave 150-160 yards of approach shots over the water to reach the green. The 9th course is another very interesting challenge, most golfers will need 3 strokes to reach the green as it is protected by rocky outcrops on both sides.

The second hole at Valley 9 offers some interesting options - if you want to pair the greens you'll have to flirt with the creek for a shorter distance across the water, but if you're playing you can Afford to avoid this danger

The choice in the cave is hole 2, and if you choose the flag, it's a longer par 3 waterhole, and taller handicaps are advised to ignore the flag and play the green to the right.
